We just left the Jasmine yesterday, 18 December 2010. It was a wonderful trip. Everybody was very nice and personable. Food was great, rooms were all well done. The scenery itself was worth the trip, but the boat just made it perfect. Absolutely would be the cruise to take, for I think it is one the best and the most luxurious cruise in Halong bay. No much you would need to take but clothes, swim suits, and sun screen. I would do it again eith my whole family.

My boyfriend and I stayed on the Jasmine Cruise for 2 nights 3 days in mid May. I book through you www.jasminecruise.com. The whole experience was absolutely amazing! We had pretty high expectations after reading all the positive reviews, but the crew and Jasmine Cruise completely surpassed our expectations.

First off, the crew was wonderful! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the service was incredible. Each time you return to the main boat from an excursion, staff are waiting with cold towels for you to wipe your hands. Prior to boarding the boat, you are required to show your passport. At this point the crew found out it was one passenger’s birthday and thus prepared a surprise birthday celebration for that passenger that night. It was a wonderful surprise!

The boat itself is gorgeous. It was like staying in a 5 star hotel. The food was delicious. And yes, like the other reviews have said, you spend the 2nd day (if you do the 2night tour) on a different boat. But most of the time you are swimming and kayaking and visiting caves, you don’t even miss the big Jasmine. This cruise is definitely well worth the money. We would do it again in a heart beat and actually we wish we could have stayed longer.

I found narrowing the options for a halong bay cruise to be very overwhelming. After reading many reviews I decided to book through our hotel on Jasmine Cruise’s website www.jasminecruise.com. We wanted a boat that wasn’t going to be surrounded by tons of other boats and around a bunch of other tourists, and the Jasmine Cruise definitely delivered. They have their own private cave and swimming beach in Halong Bay where we sea kayaked and swam. The second day they take you to a floating fishing village to see how the local fishermen live which was another highlight of the trip. Overall we had a great experience. The only thing I wish we had more of was swimming time, but on such a short trip there isn’t much time for that
